On the last day of Disability Pride Month, I’m here to remind you, as a fantasy author with multiple disabilities, the idea that disabled people can’t be in fantasy is silly (and harmful).
Both main characters of my Lesbians, Pirates, & Dragons series have disabilities, as do some of their friends, parents, and mentors, and I personally think it would be less realistic, if they didn’t.
Happy Disability Pride Month! 🖤

I loved the first book. Emilia and Maria were great, and loved how their relationship grew. Judith was also a great character, and who doesn’t like cats. I am excited to see the second book is available. I read this a couple years ago, and needed more. Now there’s a treat to look forward too. I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures unfold.
