Fantasy World Map

Here’s the fantasy world map I made for my lesbian pirate book! 🏴‍☠️🌈 With color and without! And unfinished, obviously. 😅

Emilia, our witch-turned-pirate, is from Drakon Isle. Catherine, the ex-girlfriend who arrested her, is from the Illopian Kingdom. And our lovely pirate captain, Maria, was born in Aevaria, raised in Illopia, and now lives at sea. 🏴‍☠️

I think this might be my favorite world-building thing I’ve ever tried. 🖤 It was so time-consuming—but also so much fun! 🖤

“A bit, yeah,” Kara said, taking another sip of her wine. She chuckled, as she lowered the glass. “Don’t worry. He assured me there’d be no hard feelings.”

“Yeah, I’m sure I’d say that, too, if you sliced off my finger,” Rose said.

Teaser: Anyone Else

Kara dropped her battle-axe, as if to emphasize that she was not, in fact, going anywhere. Her blue gaze shifted toward Rose—glistening like ice, piercing Rose to the core. “You want me to betray you?” she said, her voice a low growl.

“Why not?” Rose said with a weary shrug. “You’d betray anyone else.”

“Because you’re not anyone else,” Kara said. Her shoulders relaxed, and everything about her seemed softer, all of the sudden, as if she’d cracked herself open, left herself vulnerable—for the first time in her life.

“Because I love you.”

New Teaser for a New Book 💙

I’m a little late (again) because of internet troubles (again). Thursdays are clearly bad luck. 😅 Buuuuuut…I have something new for you! 💙 I’ve been working on my lesbian pirate WIP a lot lately, and I finally felt comfortable enough to share a scene this week! 💙

(Keep in mind this is definitely a rough draft, still. 😅)

I haven’t decided on a title for it yet. In my computer, it’s called Lesbians, Pirates, and Dragons, but uhh…obviously, that’ll change. 😂 But it follows Emilia, a dragon-commanding sorceress who joins a pirate crew—and Captain Maria Welles, the pirate captain she’s totally not in love with (wink, wink). These characters are so much fun, and I can’t wait to tell you more about them. But for now…here’s a fun scene:

In which my witch-turned-pirate threatens to steal my pirate captain’s ship—and my pirate captain is simultaneously appalled and…into it??? 😂 Like I said, they’re fun. 😂 Happy Teaser Day! 💙
